We made applesauce! Each student peeled, cored, and sliced his/her own apple to add to the crock pot! A little sugar, cinnamon, water, and 5 hours later.... homemade applesauce! Warm and delicious!!!
This week we introduced the iPad as a way to display information on the Promethean board. Since we have Apple TV, I can project the image on my iPad directly for the students. Here we practiced our Rug Rules while the students were watching themselves on the "big screen." AMAZING! We also used this method to share reading partnership videos of students and also student writing samples. LOTS of learning to celebrate this week! This week we worked on "adding a pinch of ourselves" to our reading partnerships. Here is our evidence! Ask your child how we used these sticky notes in workshop this week. Partnerships! This week we really worked hard to build good partner reading habits. Ask your child what a good reading partnership looks like! |
